Resources for Patients and Families

SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare works to develop Nebraska's public behavioral health systems for Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington counties by contracting with a network of community providers. The system offers a wide array of services for persons of all ages experiencing behavioral health challenges while focusing on the support wellness, recovery, resiliency and quality of life. 

Learn to Cope is a peer-led support network that offers education, resources, and hope for family members and friends who have loved ones affected by substance use disorder.

Helpful information on approaching and supporting a family member with mental and/or substance use disorders. 

Overdose prevention is a CDC priority that impacts families and communities. Drug overdose is a leading cause of preventable death in the U.S.
